THE CONDOS
 Condo Description
There are a total of 14 apartments available
for rent. There are 8 at Los Almendros Condominium, 5 at Miramar and 1
at La Iguana Condominium.
All apartments are spacious and approximately 1600 square feet or more.
All apartments boast a large main balcony overlooking Santiago Bay, the
surrounding mountains on out to the Pacific Ocean. All have a large
master bedroom with private balcony and bath ensuite. The master bedroom
will have either a king size bed or two double beds. Inside from the
main balcony is the living room, dining room and kitchen with ample room
for dining, entertaining or watching TV. Beyond these areas are two or
more bedrooms, each with its own bath and some have individual
balconies.
 Condo Furnishings &
Equipment
Each apartment is
decorated and furnished with mostly modern
Mexican furniture. The beds are in excellent condition and all
bedding is supplied. Hand, bath and beach towels are also
provided. There is a telephone and a TV with some English movie
channels on cable.
There are
ceiling fans in most
rooms with air conditioning in some bedrooms. The kitchen comes
complete with a stove, microwave, large refrigerator, toaster or toaster
oven, coffee maker,
blender, pots, pans, dishes, cups, glasses and utensils for cooking and serving.
Each balcony has
patio furniture suitable for sunrise breakfasts, sunset
cocktails, evening socializing, watching dolphins playing and migrating
whales and the occasional local fishermen.
 Building Description
Los Almendros
Condominium building was built around 1991. It is a solid white four
storey structure. On each floor there are four apartments. There are a
total of 16 apartments, all individually owned by Mexican professionals.
On each floor, the two inside apartments are slightly lower than the two
outside apartments. All apartments have an excellent view of the
courtyard, pool, beach, the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding mountains.
There are two stairways on each side of the building, each serving eight
apartments. There are no elevators.
The administration office, maid quarters, service staff facilities, pool
washrooms, shaded recreation area and the condo restaurant are located
on the eastern side of the property.
Miramar Condominium building was built in 1990 and it is actually
6 buildings all joined together by three large stairways. There are no
elevators. There are 4 apartments in each building very close to the
large sandy beach with magnificent views of the area.
From the covered private parking at the main entrance you pass by the
Administration office. The unique pool has the optical illusion that it
is part of the Ocean. There are washrooms adjacent to the pool and an
excellent poolside restaurant for the private use of condo owners and
their rental clients.
 Building Location
The Los Almendros Condominium
building is located approximately 30 miles southeast of the Manzanillo
International Airport at Km. 14.5 of the main road, Miguel de la Madrid
Boulevard at Olas Altas Avenue. Taxis and buses are conveniently
available at the front gate to take you anywhere.
Los Almendros is actually in the town of Santiago, part of the overall
metro Manzanillo area and about 14.5 Kms from the Manzanillo city
centre. There are restaurants, convenience stores and local mercados
(markets and shops) within walking distance and many more easily
accessible by taxi or bus. There are two main shopping malls with large
department/liquor/bakery/grocery stores; Comercial Mexicana and Soriana
which are located about 4 or 5 kms. to the southeast toward Manzanillo.
The Miramar Condominium building is located in the gated
community of Club Santiago also directly on and facing Santiago Bay. It
is about 2 kms. northwest of the town of Santiago yet right on the
Boulevard so buses and taxis are convenient. There is an excellent
general supermarket within walking distance and the two major
supermarket malls are just a little farther. It is also within walking
distance of the Santiago Golf Course. test
